Screenwest supported in 2022-23 with $7.7M Lotterywest grant

The WA State Government has confirmed its commitment to the continued development of the screen industry in Western Australia, providing Screenwest with a $7.7 million Lotterywest grant to support the production of screen projects in WA for the 2022-23 financial year.

Screenwest launches the Digital Games Production Fund

Applications are now open for Screenwest’s new digital games fund, which encompasses Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production phases of game development. Screenwest is also offering the opportunity for a limited number of WA studios and developers to attend the Game Developer Conference (GDC), taking place in San Francisco next March.

2022 Wrap Up

2022 has seen the release of several major Western Australian productions, with the State Government continuing their commitment to diversifying the economy through screen industry investments, including the launch of the WA Production Attraction Incentive and support for digital games.
