Applications are open for a new round of Digital Games Funding
Screenwest is pleased to open a new, limited round of Digital Games Funding, with support available for the pre-production and post-production phases of game development. Applications close Tuesday, 2 April 2024 at 5:00pm AWST.
Applications open for skills development opportunity with Odin’s Eye Entertainment at Cannes Film Festival
Screenwest will contribute up to $5,000 to assist with travel costs to the Cannes Film Festival 2024 for a WA screen practitioner to further their career through a skills development opportunity with Odin’s Eye Entertainment. Applications close Monday, 26 February 2024 at 9:00am AWST.
Applications open for Indonesian Marketplace 2:1 – Matched Development Fund
Part of the Australia – Indonesia Fast Track Initiative, the fund will provide double the marketplace development investment from international market partners with direct access to South East Asian (SEA) territories.
Screenwest heading to Albany to meet Great Southern screen practitioners
Screenwest Development Manager, Shane McNeil, is heading to Albany in March to meet with Great Southern-based screen practitioners. Shane will be available to meet with practitioners one-on-one to discuss Screenwest’s funding opportunities.
Stan Original comedic crime thriller series ‘Population 11’ starring Ben Feldman set to premiere on 14 March
Population 11 is a Stan Original Series produced by Jungle Entertainment in association with Factor 30 Films, with major production investment from Screenwest, Lotterywest and the Western Australian Regional Screen Fund and international sales by Lionsgate.
Two attachment opportunities on upcoming documentary series
A paid 1st Assistant Editor Attachment and paid Production Assistant Attachment are available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming documentary series, to be co-produced by WA production companies Periscope Pictures and Karla Hart Enterprises. West Coast Visions 2024 now open for applications
Screenwest and Screen Australia are pleased to announce that applications for West Coast Visions 2024 are now open, with up to $1.25M production funding available to Western Australian filmmaking teams looking to produce their debut feature film.
