Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) 2025 Travel Support

Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support Western Australian animation producers to attend Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) 2025. MIFA will be held in Annecy, France from 10 – 13 June, within the Annecy Animation Festival which runs from 8 – 14 June 2025.

  • Successful applicants will receive a set amount of $5,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration. A budget is not required as part of the application.
  • This is a competitive round and a limited number of practitioners will be supported.
  • Screenwest recognises the work that goes into the preparation and submission of applications. Due to the anticipated high volume of applicants, we are unable to provide individual feedback on individual applications.

Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support WA screen producers attending Marché du Film 2025, taking place in Cannes, France from 13-21 May 2025

  • A set amount of $5,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided. A budget is not required as part of the application.

Travel Fund

Financial support for Western Australian creatives and digital games developers to attend key national and international screen industry markets, conferences, festivals and awards.  To note: our funding is a contribution towards the cost of travel to eligible travel destinations.

Applications are accepted year round except for highly attended screen industry markets / conferences.

Highly attended markets / conferences are advertised as a competitive funding round due to the volume of applications we receive.

AIDC 2025 Travel Support

Applications are now closed.

Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support WA screen practitioners attending the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) 2025, taking place in Melbourne from 2-7 March.

A set amount of $2,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided and as such, a budget is not required as part of the application.

Only a limited number of practitioners will be supported.

Applications are now closed.

Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support WA games studios and developers attending the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025, taking place in San Francisco from 17-21 March.

A set amount of $5,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided and as such, a budget is not required as part of the application.

Only a limited number of practitioners will be supported.
