Synopsis

The eight-part observational documentary series looks at the amazing work carried out by the teams at two of Perth’s busiest hospitals, as they care for children from all corners of Western Australia. Many arrive through the doors of the Emergency Department for urgent, life-saving treatment, while others are flown thousands of kilometres for operations that will change their lives.

Throughout the series, specialist teams of doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals must deal with every emergency imaginable – from a bead stuck up a nose, to a brain tumour in a little girl – each unpredictable day brings new a new set of dramas.
