Synopsis

Renowned British science journalist Dr Michael Mosley is in Australia for his first landmark series, to tackle the nation’s fastest growing chronic disease: type 2 diabetes2. Working with Indigenous exercise physiologist Ray Kelly, Michael puts his body on the line to demonstrate the latest science and to show just how quickly you can eat your way into, and out of, ill health.

The two join forces to help eight brave Australians reverse their type 2 diabetes with a radical, and for some, controversial approach, relying on a low-calorie, low-carb diet and lifestyle changes rather than medicine. As the participants push themselves, Michael and Ray push the powers that be to make a difference, taking their fight to the seat of power – Parliament House. Can they kick start a Health Revolution and empower a nation to take ownership of its health?
