A creative Cinematography workshop run by Panavision in Partnership with Screenwest and the WA Branch of the ACS.
Screenwest in partnership with Panavision and the WA chapter of the Australian Cinematographer Society is offering a series of workshops for cinematographers, cameradepartment crew, directors, producers and production managers.
By using Panavision’s array of camera and lenses, the hands-on workshops consist of how the technology influences the creative elements to visual story-telling. Modern filming techniques explained, and how the future landscape of filmmaking is evolving. Workshops will incorporate video references, ‘lit set’ demonstration and theory presentation.
For the first time in WA, Panavision will showcase their renowned inventory of Anamorphic, Spherical, Large Format lenses and the Panavision Millenium DXL2 Camera. The course is being run by Nicolas Godoy. Nic joined Panavision in 1999 and has over 20 years’ experience. Nic has worked across varied sectors of the Film and TV industry in technical and consultant roles.
