General Diversity Fund Application Deadline

Screenwest has opened applications for the General Diversity Fund. Applications close Tuesday, 28 January 2020 at 5:00pm AWST.

All applicants are encouraged to schedule a meetingwith Screenwest’s Diversity Manager before submitting an application.

Meetings will take place on Wednesdays throughout November 2019. Please email diversity@screenwest.com.au to arrange a date and time.

About the General Diversity Fund

The Diversity Fund provides funding to production companies, organisations and/or individuals to overcome barriers preventing Western Australian community members from underrepresented groups from participating in professional screen industry activities.

General Diversity Fund

• Accepts applications twice per year, subject to availability of funds. Closing dates are advertised in the Screenwest newsletter and on the website.
• Is designed to encourage greater inclusivity and intersection between underrepresented groups in the Western Australian community and the Western Australian screen sector.
• Is a stand-alone stream providing support to activities not associated with projects, events or activities already receiving Screenwest funding.
• Accepts applications for stand-alone skills development and networking opportunities providing opportunity and access to the screen sector for those unlikely to have achieved otherwise.

How to Apply

The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the General Diversity Fund page ofthe Screenwest website.

All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.

An application receipt will be forwarded to the applicant within two working days to confirm that Screenwest has received the application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact Screenwest if an application receipt has not been received within this timeframe.
