Tanya Orman-Denning is one of the youngest television executives in Australia, and one of a handful of Aboriginal women in a leadership role in media. In Friday’s #RunningFreeSkills, with Media Mentors Australia, Tanya shares what’s led her to where she is; from being a journalist at the ABC and SBS, to Commissioning Editor followed by Channel Manager at NITV, and the role she’s played in bringing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories to a mainstream audience.
