A Production Coordinator Attachment is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming documentary series, to be produced for the ABC by Jo-anne McGowan (Mountain, David Stratton’s Stories of Australian Cinema), Sarah Noonan (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) and Western Australian Nel Minchin (Firestarter: The Story of Bangarra). Role: Production Coordinator Attachment
Dates: Monday, 3 April 2023 – Friday, 5 May 2023

Production Company: Stranger Than Fiction Films & Wheels Rolling Productions
The successful candidate will complete five consecutive weeks on an upcoming documentary series as a paid Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of the Production Manager, Rebecca Kelly where they will:
- Learn the responsibilities of a documentary production coordinator.
- Work in a small team producing a three-part series.
- Gain an understanding of the production process from shoot scheduling, call sheets, crew liaison and location scouting.
- There will also be the opportunity to work across the post-production process, from liaising with the post house, editors and also post scheduling.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- Genuine interest and demonstrated desire to gain experience within the local and national film industry.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills.
- Initiative, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
