About the attachment
Role: Post-Production Coordinator Attachment
Dates: Monday, 9 October 2023 – Friday, 15 December 2023 (10 weeks)
Location: Fremantle, WA
Production Company: Prospero Productions
The successful candidate will complete 10 consecutive weeks as a paid Post-Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of the Production Manager and Post-Producer Coordinator, where they will:
- Learn the role and responsibilities of a documentary post-production coordinator.
- Contribute to creation of annotated scripts, fact checking, transcriptions and legal binder.
- Gain an understanding of post-production workflows and how the post-production coordinator can support the creation of a program.
- Contribute to the process of delivering editorial milestones (rough cuts, fine cuts, picture lock, final delivery) on a documentary series.
- Develop an understanding of the purpose of the post-production coordinator and how they work with the series producer and editorial team.
- Develop skills and knowledge in the preparation of post-production coordinator paperwork, including but not limited to music cue sheet, electronic press kits (EPK), text element documents and legal binders.
- Gain an understanding as the requirements for the delivery of a broadcast documentary series.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- A demonstrated and genuine interest in a career in documentary production.
- Be able to follow instructions and use initiative and common sense.
- Feel comfortable working in an office environment and have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Be a problem solver and be able to communicate clearly with an excellent attention to detail.
