New Staff Structure at Screenwest

With the recent surge in production activity in Western Australia, and the launch of a number of new strategic initiatives, Screenwest has moved to restructure the Development and Production Team to increase its capacity.

Head of Production and Development Matthew Horrocks takes a new role as Head of Strategic Projects and Screen Investment. Matt will retain overall responsibility for screen investment, and the Western Australian Regional Film Fund (WARFF) in particular.

In addition, his new role will see a focus on key strategic initiatives, including the redesign of a new Western Australian fund, the Australia/Indonesia Fast Track Initiative, infrastructure and the Interactive Pilot Fund.

Factual Executive Franziska Wagenfeld steps into the newly restructured role of Development & Production Executive, taking charge of all Screenwest documentary and drama development and production funding across all platforms.

Wendy Simmons becomes Senior Operations Manager with a special focus on the new reporting and guidelines reviews currently underway, and the implementation of Smarty Grants. Wendy will be a member of the Screenwest Executive Team.

Screenwest is now advertising for a Documentary Manager (Development & Production) and a Drama Manager (Development & Production).
