About the attachment
Role: Junior Production Coordinator Attachment
Dates: Monday, 24 April – Friday, 30 June 2023
Location: Perth, WA. Some interstate travel may be required at the cost of the production company.
Production Company: Smashing Films
The successful candidate will complete 10 consecutive weeks on a documentary series; as a paid Junior Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of the Line Producer, Tamsin McArdle where they will:
- Gain a meaningful understanding of the fundamentals of the production process from the viewpoint of the Production Office.
- Gain an understanding of the skills and responsibilities needed to coordinate a documentary series.
- Gain understanding on planning, scheduling, creating call sheets and WH&S requirements.
The production will provide accommodation, travel and per diems costs to the Attachment should the opportunity to support the production on location arise.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- A genuine interest in a career within the screen industry.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and shows initiative
