Second Camera Attachment on OUTBACK OPAL HUNTERS Season 3
A Professional Attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on the upcoming television series OUTBACK OPAL HUNTERS SEASON 3. Applications close Friday, 21 June 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.
About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a 10-week Second Camera Attachment under the expert guidance of an experienced camera operator where they will:
- receive on the job camera training shooting an observational documentary
- develop the skills to deal with talent
- develop an understanding of general ‘in the field’ camera crew daily tasks, processes and responsibilities

It is anticipated the successful recipient will start in the role Monday, 1 July 2019.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the Screenwest Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will:
- have excellent communication skills
- be a team player
- be an on-the-go decision maker
- be someone with some technical film experience familiar with the industry and cameras.
Attachment Conditions
It is expected the successful Attachment will:
- Comply with the Producer’s workplace rules and requirements for safety and behaviour.
- Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions given to the Attachment by officers or employees of the Producer during the Term of the Attachment.
- Keep confidential any and all confidential information of the Producer that comes into the Attachment’s possession.
