Screenwest Welcomes Six New IAGC Members
The Screenwest Industry Advisory Group Committee (IAGC) would like to formally welcome new members Jodie Bell, Jules Fortune, Lien See Leong, Kim Lord, Mark Boskell and Natalie Marinho.
The six new members have been appointed to the IAGC following a call out for expressions of interest from the Western Australian screen industry, to replace outgoing members Julia Redwood, Justin McArdle and Taryne Laffar, who have fulfilled their term. The new members join IAGC Chair Chris Veerhuis and current members Aidan O’Bryan, Celia Tait, James Grandison, David Vincent Smith and Grady Habib, with members Dot West and Kate Separovich departing in October.

New IAGC Members
Jodie Bell
Jodie is a First Nations descendant of the Butchella and Jagera people of Southeast Queensland and is CEO and Producer at Ramu Productions, a community-owned Production company in Broome, WA. Jodie has produced numerous short films including the CinefestOZ 2020 Indigenous Short Film winner Doug the Human, the Cinewest WA Short Film winner at CinefestOZ 2021 The Lost Crystals of Jessica’s Room, as well as award winning short documentaries Naji, Marrimarrigun and Saving Seagrass. Jodie has also produced a number of short documentary series’ for NITV. Jodie was Co-Producer on the CinefestOZ 2015 film of the year, feature documentary Putuparri and the Rainmakers and in 2019 she joined the CinefestOZ team as the Indigenous Film Manager.
Jules Fortune
Jules Fortune has over 15 years of creative industries experience in Ireland and Australia. She possesses a wide range of skills in all areas of production, particularly documentary, and is a strong media and communications professional with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law. Jules joined Prospero Productions in 2010 as Production Manager, in 2012 was appointed Head of Production and Business Affairs, and in 2018 became General Manager and Executive Producer. Jules oversees the management of each production and their staff, and ensures all projects are brought in on time, to budget and adhering to all contractual obligations.
Lien See Leong
Lien See is a Costume Designer with over 15 years of on set experience and credits that span both the Australian and International Film and Television Industry. After a number of years working on sets across Australia, Lien See was asked to lead the on set costume team on Crazy Rich Asians before returning home to Western Australia to design the debut season of The Heights. Her Costume Design credits include the feature films Paper Planes, I Met A Girl, Blueback and television series The Heights (S1 & 2) and Itch (S2). Lien See is a graduate of the WA Academy of Performing Arts (Costume for Performance) and is committed to mentoring emerging WA crew.
Kim Lord
Kim Lord is a highly experienced sound expert with over 40 years of service in the film, television and radio industries. Kim has earned himself a reputation as a technical creative across multiple specialties including sound re-mixing, foley, ADR, and post-production. He has experience working with leading WA production houses such as Prospero Productions, Matchbox Pictures, Joined Up Films and Artemis Media. Kim won the award for Best Sound at the 1993 AACTA (AFI) Awards, and has won two WA Screen Awards for Sound, in addition to being awarded the inaugural ‘Lifetime Contribution to the WA Screen Industry’ award.
Mark Boskell
Mark has over 25 years experience as an Assistant Director, including 14 years based in Melbourne and Sydney. This experience ranges from US and Australian Feature Films to Australian TV and TVCs. He has worked extensively in regional and remote communities and is a dedicated advocate for the WA screen industry.
Natalie Marinho
Natalie is an Extended Reality (XR) professional with over 15 years’ experience in Digital Media. Born in Perth, she is of Filipino, Portuguese and Spanish descent and has lived and worked in London, Singapore and the Asia Pacific. Her diverse working background includes augmented reality, user experience design, gamification, and digital content production. Natalie is the Founder and Creative Director of Voyant Augmented Reality, Chair of Immerse Australia, a member-driven association representing the interests of the immersive technology industry in Australia and a committee member of Design Freo.

The Screenwest Industry Advisory Group Committee (IAGC) is an advisory group that assists the Screenwest Board to engage with, monitor and maintain currency with emerging issues and trends affecting the WA screen industry. The IAGC is a subcommittee of the Screenwest Board.
The IAGC helps the Board make policy and strategic decisions on a properly informed basis and provides a vital link and flow of information between the Screenwest Board and the WA screen industry.
