2020 Regional Roadshow: Screenwest Connects with the Regions

Screenwest Talent Development Manager Eva Di Blasio and Production Attraction and Services Manager Gabrielle Cole will be continuing their regional roadshow to connect with regional practitioners, councils and development commissions in the first half of 2020.
Following their presentations on Film Friendly and Pathways to Screen in 2019 in Broome, Port Hedland, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Mandurah, the Screenwest Regional Roadshow will visit the Wheatbelt, Gascoyne, South West and Great Southern Regions in 2020.
Film Friendly
Screenwest’s Film Friendly Western Australia program aims at cutting red tape and streamlining approval processes to attract screen productions to regional Western Australia. The program builds capacity within regional areas to attract and accommodate film productions.

Pathways to the Screen Industry
Pathways to the Screen Industry a free workshop for people interested in a career in the screen industry, or experienced practitioners looking for updates on the latest programs offered by Screenwest. The workshop explores available funding opportunities and provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of a Screen Production. Talent Development Manager Eva Di Blasio and Production Attraction and Services Manager Gabrielle Cole break down everything aspiring practitioners will need to get started and advise how current practitioners can take their careers to the next level.
