Justin McArdle of Frame VR and one of Western Australia’s leading Virtual Reality (VR) producers, will present a free seminar on storytelling for VR at the Perth Writers Festival on Saturday, 24 February.
Justin McArdle will share what he has learnt about telling stories within VR with a presentation which includes a tech demo and principles of immersive script writing. The seminar will also include a sneak peek of Frame VR & Weerianna Street Media’s Indigenous VR project, THALU: THE BURIED VR which received funding from Screenwest through the On-Demand Content Fund.
“As with all mediums, it all starts with the narrative. VR is no different and I am delighted that the Perth Writers Festival is exploring writing and story development in this new space.”
“Anyone interested in interactive storytelling or curious about VR will get something out of this session,” added Justin.
