Four WA projects receive Screenwest Documentary Development Investment Funding
Factual stories about motor makeovers, a former pro wrestler, a Shark Bay-based Indigenous entrepreneur and Australia's toughest rehab have received support through Screenwest's latest rounds of Documentary Development Investment Funding.
Four documentary projects have received development support through Screenwest’s latest rounds of Documentary Development Investment Funding for the 2022-23 financial year.
The successful recipients include factual stories about motor makeovers, a former pro wrestler, a Shark Bay-based Indigenous entrepreneur and Australia’s toughest rehab.
“We’re pleased to be supporting the development of these four impressive, original Western Australian documentary projects, and look forward to following their progress.” said Paul Williams, Screenwest Documentary Executive.
Screenwest’s Documentary Development Investment Fund invests in the development of documentary and factual programming in order to support and grow a sustainable Western Australian screen industry. The fund provides support to Western Australian producers for production finance for feature length documentary films and factual series with significant marketplace attachments from traditional and new online platforms and distributors.
