Eight WA production companies supported through Industry Enhancement Program
The eight recipient companies are being supported to propel their growth targets through activities including business planning and restructuring, securing national and international partnerships, engaging consultants and leveraging investment opportunities.
Launched in 2022, the Industry Enhancement Program aims to leverage international and national funding into Western Australia and ultimately increase production levels in the State.
WA production companies were invited to submit a bold and innovative business proposal that focused on growing their company and ultimately, elevating the local industry by increasing production outcomes in WA.
From what was an extremely competitive round, the recipient companies are being supported to propel their growth targets through two streams of funding. Stream One is intended to support business planning and Stream Two was designed for companies leveraging international and national investment opportunities.
“We’ve been incredibly impressed with the ambition, creativity and big picture thinking of our WA production companies, and we’re pleased to be supporting these eight companies as they look to boost our industry on a global scale. We look forward to seeing the invaluable collaborations and production opportunities that come out of this inaugural program.” said Rikki Lea Bestall, Screenwest CEO.
