About the attachment
Role: Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) Assistant Attachment
Dates: Monday, 18 September – Friday, 27 October 2023 (six weeks)
Location: Western Australia
The successful candidate will complete six consecutive weeks as a paid DIT Assistant Attachment under the expert guidance of the Key DIT, where they will:
- Be an active part of a DIT team.
- Gain an understanding of the processes used to wrangle and protect the data as well as on set data procedures.
- Assist with setting up and monitoring the data management systems.
- Liaise between production and post-production teams on a feature film, handling data management from set to editorial suite.
- Work with the Key DIT and Director of Photography (DOP) on workflow and on-set colour correction and other image manipulation to ensure that the production meets the DOP’s creative goals and maximizes digital image quality.
Please note: Travel outside the Perth metro area is required.
