Diana Pepper Remembered

Diana Pepper’s valued contribution to the WA documentary industry began with Electric Pictures in 2001.
From then, Diana worked tirelessly for many local companies including Prospero Productions, Southern Star Entertainment, and Artemis Media where she was a Senior Researcher and Casting Researcher for 6 years.
From 2012 to 2019 she worked for Electric Pictures as Producer/Casting Researcher. She was a driven and active member of the WA Screen Industry with a particular passion for telling human interest stories.
Diana’s main credits include:

The Electric Pictures team said, “We were lucky enough to have Diana return to us in 2012 where she worked on our productions for the last 7 years.
“Amongst the highlights were her forensic research into the WWI stories for the four-part series THE WAR THAT CHANGED US, and her role as Producer on our series for Discovery, AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS.
“Diana had a remarkable gift for connecting with talent, making them feel safe and secure within the film environment. She contributed greatly to the success of AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS with her ability to charm cast, crew, and the Goldfields prospecting community. A local celebrity in Kalgoorlie, she couldn’t walk down the aisle of the local supermarket without being recognised.
“She felt right at home working in the heart of red dust and gold country, working on shoots as fixer, producer, and all-round wrangler; always with a cheeky laugh and great sense of humour, no matter how tough the conditions.
“This ability is a reflection of how Diana lived. She was a great optimist who loved to help and connect with people. It is very sad to lose her, and she will be very much missed by many.”
