Chantal Chateauneuf joins Screenwest as Interim Talent Development Manager

Screenwest is excited to welcome Chantal Chateauneuf as Interim Talent Development Manager.

As Interim Talent Development Manager, Chantal will cover the role responsibilities of Eva Di Blasio, and be responsible for the design, delivery, and day to day management of Screenwest’s filmmaker capability development programs.

Chantal brings a wealth of experience and relationships from her impressive career within the screen industry, nationally and internationally to the role. She has previously worked with Mongrel Media, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Celluloid Dreams in Toronto, Canada and has also recently undertaken roles with the MIFF Industry Team and the AIDC.

Chantal has worked with practitioners at all stages of their career, from emerging directors at the MIFF Accelerator Lab to established producers and veteran filmmakers at Mongrel Media and Celluloid Dreams. With fortuitous timing after her recent move to Perth, Chantal’s engagement with Screenwest will see her contribute significantly to the development of practitioners within the Western Australian screen industry.

About Chantal Chateauneuf

Chantal Chateauneuf has worked in the film industry since 2013 to bring compelling stories to audiences.

Her experience ranges from international sales and domestic distribution to industry events and filmmaker skills development. She has held positions with Mongrel Media, Celluloid Dreams, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, MIFF Industry and AIDC.

In 2017 Chantal was named a Future Leader: Sales and Acquisitions by Screen International. She holds a B.A. in Art History from McGill University.
