Get a Grip and Learn to Light! with WIFT WA
WIFT WA presents practical workshop designed to help you build new skills, connect with experienced practitioners and step onto your next film set with confidence.
No matter your skill set, gender or experience, this is an opportunity to get a practical understanding of what’s required to work in gripping and electrical departments. Perhaps you just want to give it a go? Or maybe you want to pick up some new skills or connect with HOD’s?
Whatever your reason, this workshop is the perfect taster. Our presenters; Key Grip, Greg Stirling and Gaffer, Dan Spriggs will deliver you basic tools for both departments including builds of lights, frames, sliders and dollies. With vast experience between high end drama (feature, TV series) and commercials Greg and Dan bring a wealth of knowledge to this workshop. Having lead their departments on films such as Red Dog, Dirt Music, Bran Nue Dae, Drift, Go! and Mystery Road they’ve proven their talent on film sets nationally.
Please register via https://www.trybooking.com/BIMRJ (before Thursday 12th March 2020)
