Western Australian hot desk at Charlie’s in LA
Screenwest is supporting a desk for WA practitioners at Charlie's - the iconic creative hub, dedicated working and networking space in the heart of Hollywood in Los Angeles, thanks to our new partnership with Australians in Film.
Screenwest is pleased to announce a partnership with Australians in Film, which offers WA screen practitioners access to a hot desk at Charlie’s, a unique creative hub, dedicated working and networking space in Los Angeles.
Located in the heart of Hollywood, Charlie’s is a place where the Australian, US and international screen industries can come together, meet, network, and possibly toss around ideas on how to work together.
The partnership provides eligible WA practitioners access to Charlie’s. Subject to availability you can work out of the shared workspace or host business meetings during your stay in Los Angeles. You can also participate in networking opportunities.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a Western Australian resident and meet the general eligibility requirements set out in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
Request a Booking
To request a booking, contact funding@screenwest.com.au with the below:
- Email Subject: Booking Request – Charlie’s Hot Desk: [Preferred date/s of booking];
- Attach your CV (maximum two pages);
- Outline your intended usage and the dates that you want to use Charlie’s.
Screenwest will facilitate an introduction to Australians in Film (AiF). AiF will contact you regarding availability of the space and booking arrangements.
Access to Charlie’s hot desk is determined by availability and intended usage of the space.
Applicants are responsible for covering all costs related to travel to Los Angeles, ensuring they have the correct visas for their planned activities in the United States, and having appropriate travel insurance.
