Screenwest launches WA Screen Industry
COVID-19 discussion group and impact survey

The WA screen industry is currently entering what will clearly be the most challenging time in its history. Western Australia is not alone in this situation and Screenwest will be maintaining ongoing liaison with all the relevant Australian screen agencies and sector groups as we navigate the coming months.

Screenwest has created the Western Australian Screen Industry: COVID-19 Response Discussion Group on Facebook to encourage the WA screen sector to post information, concerns and to share ideas. It is a place for Screenwest to post what we are doing, thinking about doing and, for the industry to keep us updated and outline specific issues that need to be addressed.

Screenwest has also launched the Western Australia Screen Industry COVID-19 Impact Survey. We are collecting data from the industry in WA to accurately measure the impact of COVID-19 on the sector, and identify how we can best support the industry during this time and into the future.
