‘WA Game Developers: Get to Know Screen Australia and Screenwest’ Presentation and Networking Mixer
All WA digital games and interactive practitioners are welcome to attend this special presentation from Screen Australia’s Amelia Laughlan and Screenwest’s Caitlin Lomax, followed by a Q&A session and networking drinks. The presentation will include best practices for applying to Screen Australia’s recently re-opened Games: Expansion Pack fund. Numbers are limited so make sure you register below.

One-on-one meet and greets with Screen Australia and Screenwest
One-on-one meetings will be held 13 and 14 September. The goal of these meetings is to connect the WA games community with the funding agencies and allow them to share their experiences of making games in Western Australia.

About Amelia Laughlan
Amelia Laughlan joined Screen Australia in May 2022 as Games Investment Manager to manage the agency’s Games funding. Amelia is a game producer who joined the industry in 2017 with Tin Man Games in a narrative, production and marketing role where she worked on online multiplayer board game Warhammer Underworlds: Online, virtual reality tabletop roleplaying game Table of Tales, digital choose-your-own adventure gamebook app Fighting Fantasy Classics and the Japanese edition of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. Since then Amelia has held roles at Nintendo Australia as a business development specialist, focused on loyalty management and e-commerce; as well as at Toronto-based indie studio Snowman where she drove marketing, production and business development projects as their Project Manager.
About Caitlin Lomax
As Screenwest’s Games and Interactive Program Consultant, Caitlin is responsible for consulting with the industry regarding our $2M Games and Interactive Fund. She is the founder of INTR Studios, a Bunbury-based digital studio with a focus on AR, VR, Virtual Production and Motion Capture. Most recently, Caitlin served as technical producer on Australian animated VR series Lustration VR, which held its world premiere at SXSW 2022 earlier this year and is now available on Oculus TV.
