WA web series Visible Farmer is an official selection at the World Webfest Mania in New York and Webfest Berlin.
As two of the most established web festivals in the world, the selection of Visible Farmer at World Webfest Mania and Webfest Berlin is a fantastic endorsement of the rich and engaging storytelling within the series. Featured Visible Farmer, Darrylin Gordon from the Kimberly will also represent the series in a special Q&A session at World Webfest Mania.
The fifteen-part web series produced and directed by Gisela Kaufmann criss-crossed the country to discover untold stories of gutsy women behind Australia’s food, fibre and the vital an innovative role they play.
Each episode tells an inspiring story of a female farmer with passion and substance, showcases the diversity within the farming and agricultural industry in Western Australia, and outlines some of the challenges each woman faces.
Gisela Kaufmann, said, “After receiving two film awards in LA last month, we’ve now secured a live streaming and Q&A event at the World Webfest Mania in New York! It’s so exciting to see Visible Farmer connecting with audiences around the world!”
She added, “Kimberley pastoralist Darrylin Gordon is such an inspiring young woman, couldn’t not be more proud of her representing WA’s farming women in the Big Apple and Berlin. A massive Thank You to all our partners and supporters.”
