Screenwest’s advice to the WA screen industry in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Screenwest has been asked if we have any specific advice to offer the Western Australian Screen Industry in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As in all things relating to personal health, we believe that a pragmatic, informed approach is the best way to manage potential exposure and infection. This should include an awareness of the implications of possible infection transmission in the workplace and social situations.
Guidelines are rapidly changing and as such, we suggest you find the most up to date and relevant health and hygiene advice about the virus from both the Western Australian and Australian health authorities rather than rely on anecdotal discussions or social media.
This information can be found on:
The Government of Western Australia Department of Health Website
The Australian Government Department of Heath website
With rapidly changing travel guidelines for Australia in response to COVID-19, it is important to also monitor up-to-date information issued by government agencies as these could impact your return or entry into Australia.
