Travel funding for 2019 SCREEN FOREVER Conference

Screenwest has opened a Travel Funding round for a select number of practitioners to attend this year’s Screen Producers Australia’s SCREEN FOREVER Conference, from 12-14 November 2019 in Melbourne.

Applications close Monday, 7 October 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.

SCREEN FOREVER ‘Breaking down screen silos to strengthen the whole industry’

Presented by Screen Producers Australia (SPA), SCREEN FOREVER is Australia’s premiere industry event.

For over 30 years, the conference has championed the talent, passion and achievements of the Australian screen industry, providing a vital forum for discussion and debate on the issues and challenges that affect all screen businesses.

It attracts a diverse delegate mix of Australian screen professionals from emerging practitioners to established vanguards. Its delegates work across all genres and mediums but are united by their desire to become and remain relevant and competitive in the global market.

About the Travel Funding

Screenwest has opened a travel funding round for producers looking to attend this year’s conference.

Funding will be provided to successful recipients for a set amount of $2,000 for those attending with a Gold or Two-day pass and a set amount of $1,500 for those attending with a One day access pass, regardless of the travel funding category. A budget is therefore not required as part of the application process.

As this is a market event / conference, practitioners must have a slate of active projects in development with market potential and have genuine market interest in at least one project to be considered.

How to Apply

The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the 2019 SCREEN FOREVER Conference Travel Funding page of the Screenwest website.

All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.

An application receipt will be forwarded to the applicant within two working days to confirm that Screenwest has received the application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact Screenwest if an application receipt has not been received within this timeframe.
