Tele-Navigator development initiative relaunched
Tele-Navigator is back! The scripted television development initiative is designed for writers, directors and/or producers with television concepts that can be produced in WA, with up to six WA creative teams or individuals selected to participate in a development workshop with leading Australian TV producers. Applications close Monday, 1 July at 5:00pm AWST.
Screenwest is pleased to announce the revival of the scripted television development initiative, Tele-Navigator. The initiative is designed for writers, directors and/or producers with television concepts that can be produced in WA.
Up to six WA creative teams or individuals will be selected to participate in a development workshop with leading Australian TV producers, with a focus on getting their project market ready.
The workshop will be Perth-based and run in August/September. Applicants are required to be available to attend in person for all dates.
Following the Tele-Navigator development workshop up to two teams will receive further development funding.
Tele-Navigator Program 2024 Webinar
Screenwest is inviting WA practitioners to attend a Q&A webinar with Screenwest’s Special Initiatives Manager, Anastasia Lambetsos and First Nations Executive, Perun Bonser, who will provide an overview of the program, guidelines and eligibility criteria.

Applications will be accepted through the Screenwest SmartyGrants portal.
