Screenwest has engaged Colquhoun Arts Management to consult with the Western Australian screen sector as part of a comprehensive review of the programs, services and support available to the local emerging sector. The review will also explore the future of the WA Screen Awards.
Following on from two days of industry forums, an electronic survey is now available for all Western Australians to contribute to the review outcomes, regardless of their screen industry experience. Those who attended the industry forums are welcome to complete the survey as well.
The survey closes Friday, 23 February 2018 and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Responses will remain strictly confidential to Colquhoun Arts Management.
Screenwest is committed to ensuring strategic career development pathways are available and accessible to those embarking on a career in the screen sector.
The appointment of Colquhoun Arts Management as an independent consultant will assist Screenwest in the review process and will ensure a rigorous and objective approach.
A document outlining the key findings and recommendations will be publicly available in May 2018. The key findings and recommendations will be used by Screenwest in the identification, prioritisation and delivery of programs, funding opportunities and services for the emerging screen sector into the future.
