Successful Applicants for Hot Docs Travel Funding Announced
Screenwest is pleased to announce that we are supporting 5 Western Australian participants to attend the AIDC-lead delegation in Toronto, Canada.
The Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) will lead a delegation of documentary and factual practitioners to Hot Docs, which takes place from Thursday, 30 April to Sunday, 10 May 2020 in Toronto, Canada. The world class industry program will run from Monday, 4 May to Friday, 8 May 2020.
Screenwest Talent Development Manager Eva Di Blasio said, “We are excited to be supporting practitioners with a dynamic slate of projects for international audiences. Participants will be exposed to international co-production opportunities and will be part of a nationally lead delegation which consists of the country’s top producing talent.”

Hot Docs Discounts available through AIDC
Practitioners interested in attending the Hot Docs conference can still apply through AIDC to access a limited number of All-Access Passes for Australians at a 30% discount rate (CAD$675.00+HST). The All-Access Passes provide full access to the festival and suite of industry programming.
AIDC has also partnered with Air Canada to provide a 10% discount on flights to Toronto, available through AIDC.
