Screenwest has supported five Western Australian digital game projects with funding for the production phase of development through our Digital Games Production Fund.
The fund supports game development for PC, consoles, mobile, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) or extended reality (XR) and is designed to help WA studios and developers bring their ideas and prototypes to a level that will gain interest from other investors and partners, have successful releases and achieve high player retention post launch.
“We are thrilled to support these five Western Australian games. Each one of these projects demonstrates a high level of production quality and player appeal that can find their place in the global market. This was an incredibly competitive round, and we cannot wait for the rest of the world to experience these world-class games. Congratulations to all of our Production Funding recipients,” said Anthony Sweet, Screenwest Digital Games Manager.
