Screenwest Regional Roadshow in Mandurah
Screenwest is heading to Mandurah to provide Pathways to Screen Industry training for regional practitioners on Thursday, 28 November 2019.
1. Pathways to the Screen Industry
If you are interested in a career in the screen Industry or are experienced and looking for guidance Screenwest are heading to Mandurah to provide Pathways to the Screen Industry training for regional practitioners.
Screenwest will be offering a free workshop which will explore the funding opportunities available and give an overview of the roles and responsibilities on a Screen Production (Film and Television). For example, how do I become a Cinematographer or Screenwriter? This session will be hosted by Eva Di Blasio (Talent Development Manager) and Gabrielle Cole (Production Attraction & Services Coordinator), who will breakdown everything you need to know to get started and how to take your career to the next level.

Screenwest are keen to meet as many regional practitioners as possible and One-On-One Meetings with Screenwest Talent Development Manager Eva Di Blasio will be available on Friday, 29 November 2019.

About Gabrielle Cole
Gabrielle Cole is the Production Attraction & Services Coordinator at Screenwest. She provides professional support and advice to industry practitioners and production companies regarding filming in Western Australia.
Gabrielle assists in facilitating location recces for potential incoming productions and provides connections to the WA Screen Industry and facilities. She has been an active member of the Western Australian Screen Industry since 2014 in both the Locations and Production Departments. Her impressive list of Production Coordinator credits include BREATH, HOUNDS OF LOVE, THREE SUMMERS and 1%.
Gabrielle has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television from Curtin University, as well as Masters in Professional Communications, Screen Studies from Edith Cowan University.
About Eva Di Blasio
Eva Di Blasio is the Talent Development Manager at Screenwest. She has been an active member of the WA screen industry, working as Company Co-Director and Producer at RKPix before founding Wild Child Productions. Throughout her filmmaking career, Eva has produced short films including SLEEPWALKING and LET’S SEE HOW FAST THIS BABY WILL GO, ABC Comedy series THE CHINABOY SHOW and feature film SUCKER.
In 2010, Eva produced her debut feature film LITTLE SPARROWS, which received rave reviews and went on to win a number of awards including the WA Screen Award for Outstanding Drama. Eva also worked on the feature films 1%, OTHERLIFE and PAPER PLANES.
Eva graduated from the Australian Film and Television Radio School with a postgraduate diploma in Producing and Screen Business. On graduation Eva received the Screen Australia Talent Escalator Program Grant to work in Los Angeles where she worked with Village Roadshow Pictures and The Gotham Group.
