Screenwest launches a new Industry Development Fund for Workshops and Masterclasses
The fund supports the delivery of professional skills development opportunities for Western Australian screen practitioners. Applicants can receive funding for courses, workshops and/or masterclasses that address identified industry skills gaps. Applications close Monday, 18 November 2024 at 5:00pm AWST.
Screenwest is pleased to launch its new Industry Development – Workshops and Masterclasses Fund, with applications now open.
The fund is made possible through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ workforce capacity support for the WA screen industry, announced by Culture and Arts Minister, Hon David Templeman earlier this year.
The Industry Development – Workshops and Masterclasses Fund supports the delivery of professional skills development opportunities for Western Australian screen practitioners. Applicants can receive funding for courses, workshops and/or masterclasses that address skills gaps identified in the WA screen industry.
Screenwest invites proposals from:
- Not-for-profit screen industry organisations;
- Established production companies;
- Screen industry practitioners with significant experience.
Screenwest will offer up to $25,000 per activity. Funding is limited and competitive.
Screenwest encourages applications from First Nations Australians and people from historically underrepresented groups.
How to Apply
The application deadline is Monday, 18 November 2024 at 5:00pm AWST.
Applications will be accepted through the Screenwest SmartyGrants portal.
