Screenwest and Business News present State of the Arts in Business

Screenwest are collaborating with Business News to host a breakfast briefing 7:30am – 9:00am on the State of The Arts in Business on Tuesday, 11 June 2019 at the Hyatt in Perth.

The inaugural State of Arts in Business breakfast briefing intends to discuss and promote further collaboration and relationship building between the arts and business sectors with particular focus on further development of WA art’s infrastructure and sustainability.

David Templeman MLA –Minister for Local Government; Heritage; Culture and the Arts works through the future potential for WA’s cultural and creative industries within our state’s changing landscape, creating new economic activation and commercial development opportunities for business, within our region.

Following the keynote address, will be a panel discussion with arts and business visionaries discussing the cultural and economic benefits to the WA creative sector and the broader community when business and arts come together.

Panelists include:

• Ben Elton – Award-winning novelist, playwright, television writer, screenwriter and lyricist
• Andrew Hagger – CEO, Mindaroo
• Janet Holmes á Court AC – Arts leader
