Screen Australia’s Head of Industry Development, Ken Crouch heading to Perth to meet with WA production companies
Western Australia-based production companies, games development studios and screen businesses are invited to book a meeting with Ken to discuss their training and skills development needs and learn more about Screen Australia’s Industry Development funding.
Screenwest is delighted to welcome Screen Australia’s Head of Industry Development, Ken Crouch to Western Australia for one-to-one meetings with local production companies, game development studios and screen businesses on Wednesday, 4 September 2024.
Screen Australia’s Industry Development initiatives include BTL Next Step, a credit springboard and career accelerator program that supports established mid-career below-the-line (BTL) practitioners to step up into senior crew and leadership roles that have been identified as experiencing shortages, and the Skills Development Fund, which provides skills development and training through structured work-based learning opportunities.
BTL Next Step applications are currently open for Stage One (Production Companies and Screen Businesses), along with the Skills Development Fund. Applications for Stage Two (Placee Opportunities) of BTL Next Step are set to open in September.
