Revelation’s COUCHED Festival is almost here
Revelation Perth International Film Festival Couched lands this month so check out the full program and get tickets now.
The 2020 festival runs from Thursday, 9 July 2020 to Sunday, 19 July 2020 with tickets available now on the Revelation website.
The online festival features over 30 tiles including a mix of features, documentary, short form and special one off online events. Revelation is a celebration of the strength, innovation and adaptability of screen culture and reaching audiences.
Screenwest through the support from Lotterywest has proudly supported the festival since 2015 through the Audience and Community Engagement Fund.

2020 Revelation Program Highlights
- Retrospective Voices Matter Program– A special retrospective celebrating voices from around the global
- In the Shadow it Waits – A live online event where the film is made before your eye with special Q&A with the filmmakers and actors after
- The Worlds Best Film – an anthology documentary following 12 people that are striving to be the world’s best at strange and amazing things
- Experimental Collection Film 1: The Medium is the Message – Short experimental works examine form, structure, and material.
- Experimental Film Collection 2: Micro-narratives & Experimental-Epics – From micro-documentaries to operas to fragmented poems, a selection of experimental works that explore film and narrative in radical, imaginative ways.
- WA Premiere An Ideal Host – A Rip-snorting WA horror sci-fi cracker
- Plus Australia Feature Documentaries Morgana, No Time for Quiet and Underground Inc: The Rise and Fall of Alternative Rock
The 2020 Revelation Perth International Film Festival Couched Edition runs from Thursday, 9 July to Sunday, 19 July 2020.
