Screenwest is delighted to present a free seminar with Joanne Donahoe-Beckwith, one of Australia’s leading Directors of Photography (DoP), on Monday, 3 September 2018.
Joanne will discuss the art of cinematography and career opportunities as a DoP.
In addition, Joanne will meet with emerging directors of photography during the day on Tuesday, 4 September 2018 at Screenwest, however places are limited.

About Joanne Donahoe-Beckwith
Joanne started as a camera assistant before shooting the ground-breaking series FRONTLINE.
She was camera assistant on THE CASTLE and shot the visually stunning A RIVER SOMEWHERE.
Joanne’s long list of credits as Director of Photography include:
- TV series – UTOPIA, IT’S A DATE, LIBRARIANS and VERY SMALL BUSINESS
- Documentaries – MOLLY: THE REAL THING, FIRST CONTACT S2, THE OBESITY MYTH and FILTHY RICH AND HOMELESS, and
- Web series – OTHER PEOPLE’S PROBLEMS and LITTLE ACORNS.
She is currently DoP on Network Ten’s up-coming series HOW TO STAY MARRIED.
Joanne is on the committee for the Victoria branch of the Australian Cinematographers Society.
