About the attachment
Role: Production Coordinator Attachment
Dates: Monday, 20 February 2023 – Friday, 24 March 2023
Location: Perth, WA
Production Company: Periscope Pictures & Pink Pepper
The successful candidate will complete five consecutive weeks on an upcoming documentary series as a Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Producer, Sam Field, where they will:
- Develop an understanding of the departmental production processes of a nationwide long-form documentary series for broadcast television.
- Gain a meaningful understanding of the fundamentals of the production process from the viewpoint of the Production Office setting, including (but not limited to) scheduling, general team management procedures, assisting senior crew members, and understanding factual production processes and deliverables.
- Be a junior contributing member of a documentary series production office.
- Attend all levels of production meetings, and be mentored about industry standard processes of scheduling, production coordination, and production management.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicants will:
- Possess a demonstrated desire to gain experience within the local and national film industry.
- Possess intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
Recommended:
Extra consideration will be given to those applicants who have:
- Experience within Indigenous communities and/or Indigenous film productions.
- Prior film, television, or theatre experience.
