About the Attachment
Role: Production Assistant Attachment
Dates: Monday, 22 July – Friday, 23 August 2024 (five weeks)
Location: Fremantle, WA
Production Company: Electric Pictures
The successful candidate will complete five consecutive weeks as a paid Production Assistant Attachment under the expert guidance of Line Producer, Jill Bailey, where they will:
- Gain insight into the unique production procedure for a global franchise, from story concept to final picture lock and delivery from a production management perspective.
- Gain skills within aspects of productions management and the workflow required to deliver a 20 part returnable series.
- Gain experience working with call sheets, schedules and rushes transportation in the word and excel programme space to an industry standard.
- Gain confidence to function in the role as production assistant and determine strengths and areas for future development.
- Work within an established workflow that manages the daily production management of a multi-episode series in an extremely fast paced environment.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- A good understanding of Excel.
- Good attention to detail.
- A demonstrated desire to pursue a career in television production.
