Pixel Expo: Act III kicks off 28 September in Perth
Taking place on 28 and 29 September at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, Pixel Expo showcases the latest and greatest in gaming and animation technology, featuring exhibits from top gaming and animation companies as well as up-and-coming independent developers.
Screenwest is pleased to support Western Australian gaming and animation expo Pixel Expo: Act III, which is set to run from 28-29 September at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Celebrating the diverse worlds of video games and animation, Pixel Expo is now in its third year and brings together gaming enthusiasts, animators, developers, and industry professionals from all over the world. The two-day event showcases the latest and greatest in gaming and animation technology, featuring exhibits from top gaming and animation companies as well as up-and-coming independent developers.
Attendees can explore booths with cutting-edge animation software and hardware, play iconic retro games, and immerse themselves in the expo’s impressive lineup of locally-developed games.
Western Australian digital games and studios on offer include Screenwest-supported console and PC games These Starless Skies (Wayward Astronaut), Misc. A Tiny Tale (Tinyware Games), Tether Brawl (Level 126), Snow Cone and Nekograms (Hungry Sky), The Last Werewolf (Unnatural Freaks Studio), Power Sink (Winterwire Games) and Zodiac Mountain (Mystic Road Games), and VR games Monster House Racing (Framelabs), Me, You and Kaiju (Sentient) and Ghost Cam (Arch Rebels).
In addition to the exhibits, Pixel Expo: Act III features a number of special events and activities. These include the Pixel Expo Cosplay Championships, panel discussions on industry trends and topics, workshops and even gaming tournaments where attendees can compete against each other for prizes.

Accessibility information
Pixel Expo provides accessible options for all patrons including providing gender neutral bathrooms, AUSLAN interpreters for main stage events and select panels, and accessible signage and maps for vision impaired patrons. All rooms and spaces at Pixel Expo are designed for mobility aids access including the stage, which includes a lift for patrons using mobility devices. Companion card holders receive free entry with a ticket holder.
