Offline Editor Attachment on AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS
A Professional Attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming Television Series AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS Season 5.

About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a Six Week Offline Editor Attachment under the expert guidance of Lynette Shingleton where they will
- learn the systems involved in taking raw footage through to a finished program
- be equipped with their own AVID machine and will have the opportunity to work alongside the offline editor, mirroring their timelines as they edit and breaking down the rationale and decisions behind the processes and choices of an offline editor.
- be mentored through the process of producing assembles for internal assessment
- establish a comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of the processes required to consume a large amount of rushes, and condense the footage, within a commercially viable timeframe, into entertaining and dramatic television.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the Screenwest Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess
- Experience in edit assembles of factual programs preferred but not essential.
- Assistant editing experience in a professional capacity.
- Previous experience with AVID editing software.
- Ability to work independently, to tight deadlines, whilst taking direction from your offline editor mentor.
- Excellent proven story telling skills.
- Good level of editorial skill and judgment.
- Able to work collaboratively.
- Good communication skills.
Attachment Conditions
It is expected the successful Attachment will:
- Comply with the Producer’s workplace rules and requirements for safety and behaviour.
- Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions given to the Attachment by officers or employees of the Producer during the Term of the Attachment.
- Keep confidential any and all confidential information of the Producer that comes into the Attachment’s possession.
