Music Production and Audio Post Attachment on upcoming TV animation series
A professional attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment program on an upcoming TV animation series. Applications close Friday, 15 April at 5:00pm AWST.
About the production
The production is an animated TV series set to premiere on ABC, produced by NSW’s Flying Bark Productions (Monkie Kid, Blinky Bill: The Movie).
Co-produced by Francesca Hope from WA studio Siamese (post-production on How to Please a Woman, The Furnace), the attachment position offered will be led by WA-based Envelope Audio (100% Wolf – Howlington Academy, Iggy & Ace).
About the Attachment
Role: Music Production and Audio Post Attachment
Dates: Commencing late April 2022
Location: Perth, WA

The successful candidate will complete 12 consecutive weeks at 2 days per week as a Music Production/Audio Post Attachment under the expert guidance of Envelope Audio’s Josh Hogan and Ned Beckley where they will:
- Attend briefing/music spotting sessions with the series directors, work on music edits and assemblies of music cues into final animation synced timelines.
- Set up and manage music editing sessions.
- Spend some time with the composers of the show observing their process writing music;
- Attend Audio Post briefing sessions with directors.
- Work on Tracklay and SFX editing tasks.
- Liaise with the SFX team, attend and observe mix sessions and see the mastering of deliverables for the show.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- Willingness and enthusiasm to work in a team collaboratively on large media projects.
- Experience with working with audio and/or music in some media capacity.
- Experience with working with audio and/or music production software (no specific platform/software).
- Interest in sound and music, and able to listen critically to sound and music.
- Interest in storytelling in media and/or music, with a story to tell.
