Hairdresser Attachment on TV Series
A Professional Attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming TV series.

About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a six-week Hairdresser Attachment under the guidance of an experienced Hair & Make Up Designer where they will:
- gain hands on experience with a real production
- be a part of the make-up department on a TV series
- develop an understanding of the processes within a make-up department and the roles of the team members
- learn how to read call sheets, schedules and scripts
- develop an understanding of character breakdown
- learn to carry make-up and hair looks though character timelines
- learn to complete continuity cuts and colours
- develop an understanding of onset standby protocol

It is anticipated the successful will start in the role on Monday, 12 August 2019. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to continue with the production after the six-week attachment term ends.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the Screenwest Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- hairdressing skills
- experience in cutting & colouring
Attachment Conditions
It is expected the successful Attachment will:
- Comply with the Producer’s workplace rules and requirements for safety and behaviour.
- Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions given to the Attachment by officers or employees of the Producer during the Term of the Attachment.
- Keep confidential any and all confidential information of the Producer that comes into the Attachment’s possession.
