Perth Cultural Centre & Screen Arts present The Goologoolup NAIDOC Screenings during 2018 NAIDOC Week, which runs from 8 to 15 July 2018.
The Goologoolup NAIDOC Screenings is a free program of films from the NSFA Black Screens collection and the Western Australian Indigenous Community Stories (ICS) collection.
The program includes Mini Screens, a selection of short animated films for children; Young Adult Stories, and Redemption Stories: WA, which focuses on the resilience of Western Australian Indigenous communities.
On Friday, 13 July, the never-before-screened ICS: Western Australian Stories features three documentaries from the ICS collection. The featured stories explore the creativity of Indigenous artists and musicians from across the state: Sally Bin Denim, Laurel Nannup, and the Gunada Band.
All screenings are free.
