Final days to have your say in the Emerging Sector Review

Thank you to all who have participated in the Emerging Sector Review Survey launched 8 February.  If you are yet to have your say in shaping the programs, services and support available to the local emerging sector as well as the future of the WA Screen Awards, be sure to complete the survey by Friday, 23 February 2018.

Following on from two days of industry forums, the electronic survey is for all Western Australian screen industry practitioners, regardless of their experience, to contribute to the review outcomes.  The survey can also be completed by those who attended the industry forums.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Responses will remain strictly confidential to Colquhoun Arts Management.

Screenwest is committed to ensuring strategic career development pathways are available and accessible to those embarking on a career in the screen sector.

The appointment of Colquhoun Arts Management as an independent consultant will assist Screenwest in the review process and will ensure a rigorous and objective approach.

A document outlining the key findings and recommendations will be publicly available in April 2018. The key findings and recommendations will be used by Screenwest in the identification, prioritisation and delivery of programs, funding opportunities and services for the emerging screen sector into the future.
