Screenwest is providing a Professional Attachment opportunity on an upcoming feature film. Applications close Monday, 10th September 2018 at 5:00pm WST.
Through the initiative the successful candidate will undertake a six-week Production Design attachment, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of the films experienced Production Designer.
The applicant must, in addition to the Screenwest Guidelines & Terms of Trade:
- Have an interest in a career in the film & television industry; some previous work experience in Film & Television a bonus
- Hold a certificate or degree
- Have the ability to create graphics
- Be competent in Adobe suite, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Have a familiarity with drafting concepts/s or previsualisation programs E.G Sketchup, Autocad, Vectorworks
- Be a hardworking team player with good communication skills
- Provide a minimum of three examples of graphic design/drafting work with their application
- Be available to travel to Mount Barker, Western Australia to undertake the position. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the attachment.
The successful recipient is anticipated to commence immediately, on the 17th of September 2018.
