Elevate 2022 is now open

Applications for Elevate 2022 are now open!

Elevate invests in the professional skills development of our most talented emerging filmmakers who are committed to a career in film and television.

The Elevate program has two streams:

• Elevate30 will provide up to 3 teams up to $30,000 each for a project up to 7 minutes in length
• Elevate70 will provide up to 3 teams up to $70,000 each for a project up to 12 minutes in length

The program is aimed at directors who have already made a short film, animation or web series, working with a producer and writer, who can demonstrate how Elevate will assist in the development of their voice and progression of their careers.

In line with Screenwest’s Indigenous Screen Strategy and Screenwest’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, we strongly encourage Indigenous and Diverse directors and teams to apply.

An Executive Producer may be appointed to oversee the productions and Screenwest will be seeking expressions of interest for this role shortly.
