Screenwest is providing a Professional Attachment opportunity on the Electric Pictures television series AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS Season 4.

About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a five-week Edit Assistant Attachment under the expert guidance of Ben Howden where they will:
- Gain an overview of post-production workflow and systems
- Receive hands-on experience while learning the efficient and economic management of media and rushes
- Develop skills to make day-to-day decisions to ensure post production runs smoothly.
In addition to understanding the Screenwest Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- Previous experience with editing software (Avid preferred but not essential)
- Experience in media management and preparing rushes for editors advantageous but not essential
- Initiative, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and take direction from editors and senior staff
It is anticipated the successful recipient will commence in the role from Monday, 5 November 2018.
