A Professional Attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on upcoming Television Series AUSSIE GOLD HUNTERS Season 5.

About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a Six Week Edit Assistant Attachment under the expert guidance of Vincent Macelroy where they will
- Gain hands on experience determining the most efficient and economic management of rushes.
- Learning to make day-to-day decisions to ensure post-production runs smoothly.
- Gain an overview of post-production workflow and systems.
- learn and provide basic technical and practical support to editors.
- assist with the management of all media, digitising material, moving media files into a shared storage environment and understanding labelling systems and logging.
- gain hands on experience assisting with syncing picture and sound rushes using timecode, manually syncing if necessary.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the Screenwest Guidelines and Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess
- Previous experience with editing software (Avid preferred but not essential)
- Experience in media management and preparing rushes for editors would be an advantage.
- Initiative, attention to detail and problem solving ability.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and take direction from editors and senior staff.
Attachment Conditions
It is expected the successful Attachment will:
- Comply with the Producer’s workplace rules and requirements for safety and behaviour.
- Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions given to the Attachment by officers or employees of the Producer during the Term of the Attachment.
- Keep confidential any and all confidential information of the Producer that comes into the Attachment’s possession.
